Overview

Let's come together to discuss and promote the health, wellbeing, and networking of the Gypsy, Traveller, and Roma communities!

Working Together: Gypsy, Traveller and Roma Health, Wellbeing & Networking Event

Hosted by Healthwatch Bradford & District, this event brings together organisations, services, community partners and professionals who support – or would like to support – Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities across Bradford.

This event is an opportunity to come together, strengthen connections, and ensure the voices and experiences of Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities are better understood across the local system.

About the Event

Join Healthwatch Bradford & District for a half-day networking and feedback event focused on improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities across Bradford.

This session is designed for organisations, services, stakeholders and community partners who already work with Gypsy, Traveller and Roma communities, or would like to develop this work in the future.

Together, we will:

  • Share what’s working well in current engagement
  • Identify challenges, barriers and gaps in support
  • Connect with other partners working in similar areas
  • Discuss how shared learning can help strengthen wider local understanding and planning

Healthwatch does not provide direct services or support; however, we gather insights from those who do and ensure these are shared with the right people across the system.

There will also be an opportunity for organisations to host a small stall or display to showcase their work (optional – please request when booking).
