Blue Smile Skills in the Room
Working With and Through Metaphors in Play:
Figures of speech and passageways to the unconscious
Trainer: Dr. Lynne Souter-Anderson
**This training is for professionals and trainee therapists working with children and adolescents
In this morning workshop, we will take a close look at what metaphors are and how we use them in everyday language as adults. Then we will dive into the rich play of children to identify and illuminate what they are showing and telling us through their metaphorical play. The use of short case vignettes will underpin how to spot metaphors in play and how to ‘play’ through them.
Please bring your imaginations with you!
Intrigued, well this is a workshop not to miss!
