Working with digitised collections Q&A - online network meet-up
Event Information
About this Event
This online Q&A session is free as part of the Digital Heritage Lab and is for anyone working or volunteering for a small to medium sized UK-based heritage organisation.
Who is it for?
People working or volunteering in a small to medium sized UK-based heritage organisation with some digital knowledge.
It is essential that you either took part in at least one of the four Working with digitised collections online workshops or that you have watched recordings of these sessions which can be viewed on AMAculturehive.
What is it about?
This Digital Heritage Lab Q&A is a follow-up session to Kevin Gosling's series of online workshops on digtising collections. It is also your opportunity to meet and network with other small to medium sized heritage organisations similar to your own.
This meet-up will be divided into three parts starting with a Q&A session on working with digitised collections with Kevin Gosling, Chief Executive of the Collections Trust. To ensure your question gets answered please submit it when you register for this event.
In the second part of this meet-up, you will be placed into smaller groups and moved into virtual breakout rooms to give you the opportunity to talk and network in smaller groups. These breakouts are a chance for you to meet people working in organisations similar to yours and facing similar challenges. You'll be able to discuss and compare experiences, as well as share ideas and support each other.
The third and final part of this session will see the breakout groups return to the main session where you'll have a chance to feedback from your groups and ask Kevin more questions before the session ends.
How do I take part?
We will be using an online training platform called WebEx for this event. Before booking, please complete our online training checklist to ensure you get the most out of this training.
Please note: this even will not be recorded to allow for open discussion and networking.
