About this event

Working with eating disorders - 4th November, 10am - 12:30pm, delivered online via Teams.

After the training you will receive the session slides, additional resources and a CPD certificate.

The aim of the training:

To assist professionals with the early identification of an eating disorder and to understand eating distress.

Building confidence and knowledge for the participants to engage in conversations about eating distress.

Whilst exploring strategies to best support those in their care.


The learning outcomes:

•Increase knowledge, awareness and understanding of eating disorders and eating distress.

•Recognize the signs, symptoms, and potential triggers of an eating disorder.

•Increased confidence to talk about eating disorders.

•Identify practical strategies for working with people experiencing eating disorders/eating distress.

•Increase knowledge of local support services.
