Description
To increase awareness of trauma, trauma informed approaches and how to work in a trauma-informed way with survivors of Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV).
Learning Objectives:
- Understand what trauma is and the causes of trauma.
- Understand how experiences of trauma affect individuals.
- Understand what a trauma informed approach is and why it is good to use with survivors of VAWDASV.
- Reflect on current practice.
- Take away practical tools that will help you work with survivors of trauma.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing and may be subject to an administration charge.
- 14 or more days before the training - 100% refund to be issued
- 8 to 14 days before the training - 50% refund to be issued
- Less than 7 days before the training - Welsh Women's Aid will retain the full amount
- Non-attendance - Welsh Women's Aid will retain the full amount
