Description

To increase awareness of trauma, trauma informed approaches and how to work in a trauma-informed way with survivors of Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV).


Learning Objectives:

  • Understand what trauma is and the causes of trauma.
  • Understand how experiences of trauma affect individuals.
  • Understand what a trauma informed approach is and why it is good to use with survivors of VAWDASV.
  • Reflect on current practice.
  • Take away practical tools that will help you work with survivors of trauma.
