Aims of the event
To discuss the importance of assessment and examine appropriate models.
To outline the value of pre trauma case formulation (cognitive triads).
To explore the value of post trauma case formulation (cognitive triads).
To explore how core beliefs could exacerbate trauma or aid resilience.
To make links between resilience and the impact of trauma.
To review and introduce useful interventions.
About the facilitator
Andy is a BABCP Accredited Senior Consulting CB Psychotherapist / BABCP Accredited Clinical Supervisor/BABCP Accredited Trainer/COSCA Accredited Diploma Level Trainer/Person Centred Therapist and Practices Schema Therapy and DBT. He is passionate about working with severe trauma and personality disorders. Andy has worked in local authority settings, NHS Settings, Private Low secure/locked rehab settings and is the owner and Academic Director of ACT Counselling Services.
£60 if paid in advance or £65 at the door.
Refreshments, snacks, handouts and CPD certificate are included in the price.
Note – lunch is not included.
