Working with Transference and Countertransference in Practice - ONLINE
Overview
This online workshop will involve an exploration of transference and countertransference and how the understanding of these concepts has evolved; variations and types of transference and countertransference; psychotherapeutic relevance and impact; challenges in practice; exploring countertransference and burn-out; and the opportunity to explore and reflect on clinical experiences.
The workshop will explore these ideas from an integrative perspective that draws on a variety of approaches and modalities, developmental theories, and relational-based theories.
It is aimed at qualified and trainee counsellors and psychotherapists from all modalities and approaches, but may also be of interest to psychologists and practitioners from aligned fields who would like to integrate these ideas into their practice.
The workshop will be hosted on ZOOM.
