Event description

Description

This is the first official conference of the UK Student Chapter of the EWDA.

Want to work in the field of wildlife health? Curious as to what's involved and how to move forwards? Hear from six speakers across a diverse range of expertises:

Alex Barlow - Wildlife Health Surveillance

Anna Meredith - Wildlife Health in Practice

Vic Simpson - Wildlife Pathology

Becki Lawson - Citizen Science in Wildlife Studies

Ruth Cromie - Wildlife and Policy

Rob Deaville - Marine Health

The meeting will be a great opportunity to learn more about what is going on today in wildlife health, but also to learn about the EWDA and tell us what you want from the chapter.

We will also have a short introduction to the association from Lisa Yon, outgoing EWDA president, as well as an open discussion forum with our speakers on "Careers in Wildlife Health".

Lunch will be provided.

For those keen to mingle after the event there will be an informal social event immediately after our day finishes, where we will all have a chance to chat over a drink (drinks not included in ticket price).
