Workplaces for Women in the Wake of Metoo
Event Information
About this Event
Following on from our last panel in March Sister Society are proud to be teaming up with Survivors' Network for a special event this November to mark this amazing charity's 29th birthday.
Our wonderful panel of women will be discussing their lived experiences in the workplace, the impact of sexual harassment or fear of sexual harassment in their working lives and how we as women can support each other going forward to create safer working environments and supportive professional intersectional cultures in the wake of #MeToo.
Survivors' Network support survivors of sexual abuse and violence and are the rape crisis centre for Sussex. Last year they created the #OverToYou Kitemark for local businesses and organisations to demonstrate the active work they are undertaking to challenge sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. The Survivors' Network team run training for staff, managers and HR professionals to aid them in qualifying for this Kitemark.
