ONS Local has been established by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to promote evidence-based decision-making at the local level. We aim to host insightful workshops which will provide practical, technical support to help users make the most of ONS and other government data. DWP run the database Stat-Xplore, which is DWP’s online tool for Official Statistics.
Join us in this engaging session which aims to go through the basics of how to get the most from DWP’s Official Statistics using Stat-Xplore.
With Stat-Xplore, DWP offers users a fully self-service platform for interactive data dissemination giving users the power to ask any questions they like of a series of varied datasets rather than being limited to what DWP decide.
You will be guided through how to navigate and best use certain features of the tool to maximise your outputs in a fraction of the time.
This event is open to all; however, we anticipate it will be of most interest to anyone working at a local level on extracting data from DWP.
