Event description

Description

This event is for academics from across the University who are embedding Engaged Learning into their curriculum. Join us for a lunchtime discussion exploring solutions for ethical challenges in Engaged Learning (lunch provided!).

During the workshop, participants will exchange best practices for ethics in engaged learning (including approval processes and other ethical considerations). During these conversations, we will work together to co-design some core pillars of ethics for Engaged Learning. This will support the Engaged Learning Network to develop resources related to ethics for Engaged Learning that we hope to pilot and test in 2019.

The session will be supported by Ann Padley, Teaching Fellow in Design Thinking at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

This workshop is part of the Engaged Learning Network's three-part autumn event series on the ethics of Engaged Learning. Each event is designed to build upon discussions from the previous sessions, but don’t worry if you can’t attend all the events in the series. We will ensure that you will still be able to contribute to and benefit from each individual session.

(Please note - this event is only open to University of Bristol academics)
