WORKSHOP: Cooking up the Left-Overs with the Journal of Wild Culture
1st & 2nd May 2013
30 minute sessions
12.30 - 1.30pm, 2.30 - 3.30pm, 4.30 - 5.30pm
Journal of Wild Culture, Tom Jeffreys
Have you got a half-finished short story festering away in a corner of your laptop? A brilliant feature article that nobody wants to publish? A pile of poetry or an old opinion piece? Then take this chance to revisit and re-evaluate; to make use of all those editorial left-overs.
Tom Jeffreys, the Editor of the Journal of Wild Culture, will be hosting a series of one-on-one workshops to help writers and non-writers alike get their thoughts out into the public domain. Once you have booked a slot, you will be asked to send up to three pieces (totalling no more than 5,000 words) to Tom so that he can take a look through and prepare some thoughts in advance. The workshops will be relaxed and informal, and specially tailored to suit the needs of each person and their work. Each will be followed by editing and advice via email, and successfully completed pieces will be published on the Journal of Wild Culture.
