Event description
Exhibition and artwork, followed by a workshop on experiences of migrants held by Professor Vicki Squire and artist Bern O’Donoghue.

About this Event

Professor Vicki Squire, from the University of Warwick, and her international research team spoke to more than 250 migrants and refugees as part of her research to help understand the journeys people made across the Mediterranean Sea in 2015 and 2016.

This event will unveil the research findings using an online digital map, to shine a light on the journeys and experiences of people arriving to Europe in the midst of the so-called ‘migration crisis’ .

As part of this event, there will be a workshop where you will be able to reflect on the stories you have heard through an interactive art activity with Bern O'Donoghue and write a postcard to your MP based on your response to the research.

The exhibition will be open from 11.30pm, and there will be an interactive workshop from 1.30pm-3.30pm. Please register separately.

Seating may be limited on the day, please let us know in advance if you require a seat so that we can accommodate you.

For any queries contact Dr Melina Dobson on melina.dobson@warwick.ac.uk.
