Do you love sound? Have you always wanted to build your own audio electronics?
We are super excited to be holding a DIY Synth workshop at makersCAFE - a cool spot that is half maker-space, half cafe providing a playful and collaborative environment for new ideas to materialise.
Join us for this great, easy and fun workshop and learn to use basic circuitry to create an amazing DIY electronic synthesiser to make music. We'll also give you £5 to spend either on coffee, or towards a half hour consultation for 3d printing or laser cutting here at makersCAFE.
The workshop will give you a great introduction to electronics and the components that make up most of the technology in our lives. Join in with a handful of like-minded, soon-to-be tinkerers, hackers and makers to learn basic circuitry and create an amazing DIY synthesiser. You'll learn how to start making and inventing with electronics - not to mention you'll leave with an awesome synth to impress all your friends!The class is suitable for all ages and skill levels, and no experience is necessary, just a love of sound and a lot of enthusiasm.
The experience lasts 2 hours, and includes a drink of your choice from the bar!
