Workshop: Effective Vegan Advocacy (Manchester)

Join us for a two-day Center for Effective Vegan Advocacy (CEVA) workshop brought to you by ProVeg UK.
On-site trainings are led by CEVA hosts:
Dr. Melanie Joy: a Harvard-educated psychologist, celebrated speaker, organisational consultant, strategist, and award-winning author
Tobias Leenaert: international speaker, vegan advocate and strategist
CEVA aims to increase the impact of vegan advocacy worldwide. CEVA is a program of Beyond Carnism, a charitable organisation dedicated to exposing and transforming carnism, the invisible belief system that conditions people to eat certain animals.
CEVA aims to empower the vegan movement by empowering advocates and organisations. Through offering on-site trainings, grants to qualifying organizations, and a strategy resource centre, CEVA seeks to increase the effectiveness of vegans and vegan organizations.
This truly is a workshop not to be missed.
The workshop will cover the following modules:
• Making a difference for animals.
• Effective communication
• Effective vegan advocacy
• Making compassion easier
• Strategic vegan outreach
• Sustainable activism
The workshop takes place over two days.
We'll be providing tea and coffee with plant-based milk throughout the day. Two vegan options will be available for purchase from the venue’s café, or you can bring food with you to eat in the common areas of the museum.
