Description

From Concept to Creation, take your workshop from nearly engaging to really engaging.

Need to create a new workshop?

Ready for some new ideas?

Need an injection of creativity?

Get your people participating!

5-hours of WORKSHOP WONDER, combining the theory and practical skills required to design and plan a dynamic, interactive workshop. Giving you the tools and confidence to create and deliver a vibrant and engaging event that gives your participants that real learning buzz.

“I've now attended three of Helene's workshops and not only was each one great fun but absolutely jam packed full of value and left me with concrete action plans, tools and techniques to use in my business going forward. What more can you ask?”

Anna Mcloughlin, Ink Spiller

Coming up with a range of activities to keep your workshops fresh and interesting is a constant challenge. If you can develop a good catalogue of engaging, stimulating and participatory tools and techniques then you will be able to keep your participants and yourself interested for many a workshop to come.

This is for you if you want to:

  • Develop a workshop but have no clue how to go about it.
  • Need to refresh your current workshop with new ideas and exciting approaches.
  • Make your workshops stand out, giving them the edge to get them booked.
  • Improve your delivery methods, and review and revive your activities.
  • Expand your selection of interactive tools and build your own workshop “toolkit”.

"WONDERFUL workshop! Thank you Helene so very much! Great content, structure, tips and guidance on how to build, manage & carry out a successful workshop! Can't wait to apply all I've learnt to my workshops. Thanks again Helene - highly recommended for anyone thinking about doing workshops or in the early stages of getting their workshops off the ground 10/10".

Sarah Cook, SHC Social Media

IF you deliver them well and your content is engaging, workshops can be a fantastic business offering, enabling you to:

  • Demonstrate your knowledge, expertise and confidence to a group, reaching more people in one event.
  • Communicate clear messages about your specialism in an engaging and enjoyable way.
  • Generate dynamic and interactive discussions adding value to any content you put in.
  • Provide an instant networking opportunity - a chance for participants to get to know you, and each other.

“I attended the full day workshop on how to give a workshop and came away with a bucket load of ideas on how to make my workshops more engaging for my attendees. If you are new to giving workshops or want a refresher then I highly recommend this workshop”.

Caroline Arnold, Executive Leadership Coach

Come and explore the ins and outs of how to design and deliver your own wonderful workshop.

Content will include, but is not limited to:

  • What makes a workshop GREAT
  • Knowing your role in delivering a workshop
  • Learning how to “WOW” - increasing engagement and participation
  • Workshop tools and tips
  • Workshop plan and design

Plus a brand NEW share and learn session.

“Helene delivered a fantastic workshop that has inspired me to be more creative with our own events. She is full of excellent advice and it's a real confidence boost too. I whole-heartedly recommend that anyone thinking of running their own event sign up to Helene's next workshop”.

Jennifer Rollason, Dial a Geek

ABOUT HELENE JEWELL

Helene is a professional workshop facilitator and has many years' experience of designing and delivering workshops of all kinds, with a whole host of different people. Her workshops have included young people, health care professionals, engineers, archaeologists, senior project managers, small business owners, community workers and many more and she’s worked both here in the UK and overseas. She has gathered a wealth of experience in an enormous range of workshop tools and techniques and has also learnt a few things about what not to do......!

She started creating her “workshops on how to do workshops” following conversations with small business owners, who were content specialists in their own subjects but weren’t quite sure how to translate this into a workshop that would be as good as their expertise. The first Workshop Essentials was delivered in November 2015, followed by the addition of The Workshop Toolkit in January 2017. To date Helene has trained well over 60 people to get their workshops right, including two teams from the DIT/Business West, helping them to develop their Ready to Export workshops.

Creating workshops is a pleasure and a joy, it is a fabulous way to engage your clients and impart what you know. But just like anything else, there is a skill and an art to it. From the design and delivery, to managing a group and to choosing the right activities and materials it's much easier when you know what you're doing.
