Event description

Description

At this member-only engagement workshop, you are invited to deep dive into the strategy proposals for National Voices' recovery plan over the next 12-24 months. These proposals were initially laid out by Charlotte Augst, Chief Executive of National Voices in this webinar. Email membership@nationalvoices.org.uk to get the viewing password. Please fast forward to five minutes in as this is when the webinar begins!

We believe National Voices needs to perform three strategic shifts in order to become sustainable for the future.

SHIFT 1: Focus – We need to be realistic about what we can and can’t do and not shoulder the whole system change agenda

SHIFT 2: Mandate – we need to make much more of the fact we are a membership organisation and of the work our members do

SHIFT 3: Voice – we need to have shorter lines of sight between the experience of using services and our work.

These shifts and their implications for the future of National Voices will be explored in more depth at this workshop. It is important to us that members feed in to these strategy discussions so we have an understanding of the coalition's collective priorities.

This workshop is the final stage of member engagement within our strategy review to 'future-proof' National Voices. Members are also invited to complete a survey responding to our proposals. We have offered three different ways of engaging (webinar, survey, workshop) so that you can find the engagement activity that work for you. You are welcome to attend this event whether it is the only engagement exercise you have been involved in, or if you have taken part at every stage so far.

Final agenda TBC.
