Workshop: Humber Local Energy Strategy
Event Information
Description
We would like to invite you to attend our stakeholder engagement workshop, so that we can together share and capture information to develop a Local Energy Strategy for the Humber. You’re someone who can play a key role in helping us with this task; we need you to participate to help us:
• Identify the key opportunities and challenges for energy in the Humber
• Agree key themes and focus areas
• Identify projects that will unlock benefits for the region
By attending, you can ensure the energy needs of you and your organisation are represented in the development and implementation of the strategy. Ultimately, this strategy will enable us to identify and apply for the funding required to secure an economic and sustainable energy future for the region, its businesses, and ultimately you and your community.
The workshop agenda is as follows:
• Welcome and introduction to the project
• An Overview of the national and local energy policy context
• Potential project interventions to decarbonise and achieve clean growth
• How you can support and influence the strategy and actions
• Group Discussions
This will be the first in a series of two workshops, and we would like you to attend both. If you wish to attend this first workshop, please request a ticket via this page on EventBrite (repeated here for your convenience):
