Join Our Workshop: Improving Maternity Care for Plus-Size Parents in Trafford 👶🤰
Have you had a baby or been pregnant in Trafford in the last 2 years and have a BMI over 30? We want to hear from you! 💬
Come along to a friendly, in-person group discussion at Stretford Children’s Centre to share your experiences of pregnancy and postnatal care. We’re especially keen to hear from Black, Asian or mixed ethnicity parents, LGBTQ+ parents, neurodiverse parents, parents with disabilities, and those who feel their voice isn’t always heard. 🌈🤝
In this workshop, we’ll talk about:
- ⚖️ How weight affected your maternity care or treatment
- 🩺 The best way for healthcare staff to talk about weight during pregnancy
- 💡 What we can do to make care better for plus-size parents in Trafford

- ⏰ Time: 12:45pm (for a 1pm start) – finishing by 2:30pm
