Workshop: Managing Ocean Risks
Marine South East are leading this workshop to expand upon opportunities for maritime risk management, such as:
Pollution detection and characterisation for optimised remediation
Marine litter surveillance to target intervention
Algal bloom surveillance and forecasting toxic impacts
The objective of this workshop is to validate the need for novel solutions, assess state of the art in these domains, and prioritise the solutions to take forward into implementation.
This is the second workshop in the programme of activities for the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications which is a collaboration between University of Brighton, Universityof Portsmouth, University of Southampton, National Oceanography Centre, Marine South East, Offshore Renewables Catapul and Hampshire County Council.
