Modern Gilding for Decorative items, Walls and Furniture. Upgrade and Enhance many items in your home
About this event
We are really excited to be able to offer you this one day workshop (9.30am to 4.30pm) on Applying Dutch Metals, taught by Ian Newman.
This workshop is set in the warm, friendly and picturesque surroundings of Stockbridge village, located in the heart of Test Valley.
Come learn a new skill, or enhance your existing skills. If you are thinking Gold is too expensive and fiddly then why not try using Dutch Metals for the same effect? It is widely used in decoration throughout homes and even on walls. It also costs far less then using gold itself!
As a member of a small group of no more than 8, you will receive one to one instruction for much of the time. The information and skills you will gain from this course are all about the processes you’ll need to do before you get to the gold for the best possible finish. Remember, it’s all about the preparation.
During this workshop, Ian will freely provide you with his knowledge and experience to teach you the skills on how to correctly prepare any surface. Come and learn these skills while making new friends and contacts in a relaxed environment and leave with a new skill that can transform your home.
