Workshop on Common Land and Village Greens

The Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Association of Local Councils and the Open Spaces Society, Britain’s oldest national conservation body, are providing both Clerks and Councillors a practical course, covering common land and village greens. We will cover
- An introduction to common ground, village greens and the local green space designation and why they are important
- Relevant legislation
- How to register, manage and take action against encroachment and unlawful works
- Examine the implications of the local green space designation
- Exchange of ideas and good practice
Please note: Registration from 9.30am for 10am prompt start.
Refreshments and lunch will be served.

The Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Association of Local Councils is a membership organisation serving Parish, Town and Community Councils throughout the County of Buckinghamshire.
