Workshop on Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL)
Event Information
Description
The Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) scheme is a grants programme that funds regeneration-focused community projects in Brent, administered by Brent Council. NCIL supports development by funding infrastructure, such as street trees, play equipment and refurbishments of venues of community value, and community projects that address the demands that development places on an area, including programmes and classes for Brent residents.
The next application window is Tuesday 1st October 2019 – Sunday 1st December 2019.
This training workshop will provide more information on NCIL, guidance on how to write a strong application, and an overview of the online grant portal through which applications are made. It is also an opportunity to ask any specific questions you may have on NCIL to capacity-building experts from CVS Brent and a member of Brent Council’s NCIL team.
Who should attend: potential NCIL applicants
Speakers:
- Kate Lambert, Partnerships Funding Officer (Brent Council NCIL team)
- Anju Bhatt, CEO of CVS Brent
