WORKSHOP & PERFORMANCE: Wild Theatre
2nd May 2013
4.00 - 5.10pm
Grow Your Own Theatre, Sarah Chase
Wild Theatre is about releasing drama and storytelling back into the community. Rather than seeing the lack of arts centre/theatre space in the local area as an obstacle, Grow Your Own Theatre uses this to their advantage. By creating Wild Theatre wherever they can, young people are forced to think sideways, performing in community centres, teeny cafes... Where next?
In this workshop, you will learn about how to create a show from scratch and work with others to create your own mini-show using the space we are in as inspiration. Everyone welcome, from experienced devisers to those with just plenty of enthusiasm.
Sign up to help create the show, or come along and see the performance at 5pm.
