Using proverbs, and parables to delve into the importance of these stories. How and why they are told, and passed down from one generstion to the next.
Workshop participants would understand the role and importance of flat characters against round characters.
The Workshop will be divided into two halves of 45 minutes each.
First 45 minutes would involve the weaving and telling of stories steeped deep in Bantu folktales
The first 15 minutes of the second half of the workshop would involve participants writing their own folkstories from their own part of the world.
The last part of the workshop would involve sharing, question, and answers on writing.
All this as a buildup to the film at 6pm
