Workshop - User Story Mapping (Joint DHOx / DOPM event)
Wed 15 March 2017, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT
The Digital Health Oxford (DHOx) and Digital Oxford Project Managers (DOPM) teams have joined up to bring you a really fun and useful workshop on user story mapping. This workshop is a crash course in how to use user story mapping as a tool for scoping and prioritising a product backlog with the product owner. It will be a hands-on, interactive session for anyone who’s interested in different ways of exploring backlogs with clients.
The session will be run by Frances Place, account director at Oxford digital agency White October. Frances has had lots of experience dealing with health-related projects, and you can watch her give a talk at a previous DHOx on her work with the Let's Talk FGM app. You don't have to have any prior experience, and the session is sure to be useful for anyone who is either running projects, or dealing with / commissioning people to run projects.
If you haven't heard of DOPM, they're a friendly bunch of Digital Project Managers, who have regular talks, workshops and lean-coffee sessions. Check them out at https://www.meetup.com/DOPM-Digital-PM/, and keep an eye out for their upcoming events. Digital Health Oxford has a vibrant community of medics, researchers, software professionals, designers, patients, students, entrepreneurs and other interested people, coming together to learn more about the field of digital health, at the intersection of health and medicine, computing, technology, and the plethora of data being generated by people, devices, healthcare and biology.
