Bromley House Library is home to both the archives of the British Sundial Society and one of very few surviving brass Meridian Lines, created to establish precise time-keeping for the city. Participants will explore time as a subject and feature in poetry, from the linear measurements of Meridian Lines to the endless cosmic nights of Polynesian creation mythology and the seasonal cycles of pre-industrial English folk songs.
