WORKSHOP²: A Workshop Design Intensive

By Hypha Studios

Overview

Get ready to dive deep into the world of workshop design - it's going to be an intensive and creative experience!

Ever wanted to run your own workshop, but didn’t know where to start? 🤔🥸

Or maybe you already have an idea and want to shape it into something people can truly experience? 📝🎨

Workshops have become an increasingly significant part of research and practice, serving as formats for knowledge exchange, embodied interaction, and socially engagement.

Join us for a half-day intensive Workshop² where we explore how workshops can become creative tools, research methods, and spaces for collective imagination.

This programme is interdisciplinary by design. We invite people from any field who want to develop confidence in running collaborative sessions. From educators and cultural workers to community facilitators, interdisciplinary practitioners, and anyone exploring participatory or pedagogical approaches in their work.

You’ll receive:

1) PRINTED DESIGN TOOLKIT: Receive a printed design toolkit with templates, methodologies, and guiding questions

2) FACILITATION FUNDAMENTALS: Learn practical tools for designing prompts, warm-ups, spatial arrange-ments, and reflective moments

3) ONE-TO-ONE SUPERVISION: Have a chance to get 1-1 supervision for the development of workshop

4) FUTURE COLLABORATIONS: Build a supportive peer network for future collaborations or knowledge exchange

What’s next?

For those who want to continue, we’re hosting Jammin’ the System: A Workshop Festival on January 4th, 2026 at the same venue. The festival gathers up to 9 facilitators for a day of cross-disciplinary workshops focused on experimentation, shared learning, and embodied research. You’ll have the opportunity to refine your proposal and test, develop, and present your work in a real-world setting.
