Thu 18 February 2016, 14:00 – 17:00 GMT
This is an opportunity to inform national work and share good practice.
The starting question for this event is:
‘How can the National FGM Centre ensure that girls and women at risk or affected by FGM in England are provided with the right support and safeguarding throughout their lives?’
This question will be used as the starting point in our World Café event to create a series of conversations with our expert delegates that will enable you to :
- Inform the work of the National FGM Centre
- Share best practice in engaging communities to effect change
- Share best practice in multi-agency working to protect girls and support women affected by FGM.
Please join us for tea, coffee and cake and the opportunity to inform national work and share good practice. All delegates will receive a copy of the novel “What Was Never Said” by Emma Craigie.
Key findings from the day will inform local and national strategy. Findings from all National FGM Centre stakeholder events will be shared with policy makers to inform national policy and practice.
Refreshments will be provided.
Please note that spaces are limited.
