About this event

World Class Study in London Virtual Counsellors' Conference 2021

This year our annual World Class Study in London Counsellors' Conference will take place online, with sessions held on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 February 2021.

This Conference is an opportunity for counsellors and teachers from institutions in both the UK and overseas to hear from representatives from five of London's leading universities. The Conference agenda will be devised to help you better support your students through the university application process.

During the Conference, delegates will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear from admissions and recruitment staff from Imperial College London, King's College London, LSE, SOAS and UCL
  • Find out what we look for in a competitive application
  • Attend personal statement and teacher's reference sessions
  • Interact with current students
  • Network with colleagues from around the world

The conference is open to all teachers, counsellors and careers advisers. Members of a professional counselling association (e.g. International ACAC, NACAC, IECA, CIS or similar) are also welcome to attend.

Due to the limited number of spaces available, we ask that a maximum of two counsellors per school/organisation attend. Sessions will be recorded and can be shared with your colleagues post-event.

Further information, including an event schedule, will be made available early in 2021. Events are planned to run between 08:00-14:00 on Tuesday 23 February and 12:00-18:30 on Wednesday 24 February (GMT). Some sessions will be repeated on both dates to accommodate delegates in different time zones.

Sessions will be recorded.
