World Escape Day 2017: Munich
Mon 6 March 2017, 19:00 – 23:00 CET
Come and join us to celebrate the existence of an alternative work reality. We believe that right now, in the 21st century, there is a place where you can do work that matters to you and we want to help you get there. More importantly, we do this because we think that helping you escape to do work you love, and 999, 999 others like you, will change the world. For us, escaping is not so much about what we leave behind as it is about where we are going – a place where you are respected in the work-place, your contribution is valued, it makes a difference, you have control over what you do and where you do it and not only are you pretty darn good at it, you really enjoy it.
Activities planned for the night include:
- A live feed from the World Escape Day London event for the introduction by the London Escape Hero's and Chris Guillebeau (author of the $100 Start-up).
- Local escape stories from the founders of Munich startup www.Fitrate.de Florian, Hubi & Vahid and travel blogger in the making Lena who has turned a significant life event into an opportunity to fulfil her dream of cycling from Munich to Hong Kong.
- Interactive exercises designed to get you started on your escape journey and help you understand that you are not alone on the journey
Come join us on Monday 6th March at 7pm at our exciting new location at the Alte Scheune in the Stemmerhof and we will show you how to start your escape journey, introduce you to the many people who want the same thing, and inspire you with stories of those who have already escaped. Be warned - escaping is difficult. Many of you have probably tried, maybe even changed jobs or started your own thing. That’s great, because what makes Escape special is that we do it together, in a community, by challenging and supporting each other.
Tickets are 15 euro and includes entrance, food and drinks.
