Building a mentally healthier Halton - One Day Conference
What does the local map of mental health and living well services look like for Halton’s children and young people?
To mark World Mental Health Day, in Halton we will be hosting a FREE conference at Riverside College on 10th October 2016 for local workforce and frontline staff who work with children and families. In the evening a FREE public social event will be hosted at The Studio in Widnes that will be family friendly and have lots of great entertainment. Both events will provide free refreshments and food.
The conference is a working event suitable for all local frontline staff who work with and for Halton's children and young people and their families. The aim is to help ‘map out’ what it looks like in Halton for children, young people and families around mental health and living well services. To share good practise, successes and strengths, knowledge and resources towards building a pathway that can be shared across sectors. By the end of the day we hope delegates:
i) have a good idea of what a local ‘map’ of mental health and living well support could look like
ii) identify where their service fits within the 5+ local 'map'
iii) will contribute to the development of a colaborative local 5+ pathway.
