Saturday, 10 October 2020, 12pm - 6.30pm

To mark World Mental Health Day 2020, the Mayor of London's Peer Outreach Team and Thrive LDN will be hosting a young Londoner-led virtual festival.

What's on?

Increasingly young people around the world are coming together to voice their concern and take collective action to address some of the world’s biggest challenges, and London is no different.

The various activities, workshops and performances will offer a platform to discuss with other young people the challenges faced during COVID-19 and explore shared experiences of inequality and issues raised through the Black Lives Matter movement.

This year's World Mental Health Day Festival programme is all about supporting you to build resilience and promote positive wellbeing. It is an opportunity for young people to come together, from across London and beyond, to collectively overcome barriers and support one another.

Where is it taking place?

Due to social distance restrictions, this year's festival will be online with a mixture of live and pre-recorded content. A full programme will be released towards the end of September. The festival will also align and coincide with Black History Month.

How can I get involved?

Simply SAVE THE DATE and register your attendance to receive updates about the festival's programme and line-up, alongside all the details for how you can participate.

Before WMHD 2020, you can also participate in an interactive online workshop facilitated by the Fandangoe Kid to explore experiences, challenges and issues faced during the pandemic. The learning from the workshops will become part of a larger visual art project as part of London’s World Mental Health Day 2020 Festival

Please also share the details with your friends and networks. Further information about Thrive LDN is available online here.
