Eco-Sikh UK will be holding the first ever World Sikh Environment Day Conference on Sunday 14th March from 2pm. The event will bring together academics, activists, campaigners and experts to discuss some of the biggest environmental challenges we face today.

The live event will be webcast to a worldwide audience to drive forward action on combating climate change, global warming and bio-diversity loss. It will also mark the inauguration of Guru Har Rai Ji, whilst observing the new year on the Nanakshahi Calendar.

The conference will commence with a moment of spiritual reflection, followed by a panel of distinguished guest speakers, as well as interactive polls, Q&A session and a mini documentary feature.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first embodiment of Divine Light in the Sikh religion, laid the foundation for our sacred vision for the environment stated:
