Join us for a special World Suicide Prevention Day event at Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre.

🕤 Doors open at 9:30 AM🗣️ Speakers from 09:50 to 11:45 AM🤝 Networking and information stands to follow

The morning event will focus on Safety Planning and the vital role it plays in reducing suicide deaths across Suffolk.

The speakers include

  • Dr Peter Ives (4MentalHealth) - Safety Planning and Co Production
  • Sue Wilgoss (NSFT Advisor for Suicide prevention) - Safety Planning with Autistic People
  • NSFT Young Participants - Lived Experience Stories
  • Graham Abbott & Emma Regan (Public Health and Communities team) an update of the planned Suicide Prevention work

During the morning, we will be launching:

  • A Suicide Prevention film made by NSFT Young participants
  • A new Suffolk Wellbeing resource 'Well-Minds'
  • The new provider of the SNEE Bereaved by Suicide Service. (NE Mind and Suffolk Mind).

As well as this there is an opportunity to connect with local organisations and to network with other professionals.

🎁 Sorry there is no free lunch but attendees will also receive free access to an online training package: “Supporting Others to Make a Safety Plan.”
