Welcome to the Worthing Backgammon Club - now registered with the UKBGF. We are Worthing's first official Backgammon Club and growing rapidly!

Join us at Brewhouse & Kitchen - Worthing on August 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM (Europe/London Timezone), and every Monday evening.

Whether you're a beginner or a Pro, everyone is welcome! We're a friendly, relaxed group - some of us play competitively and some of us play for fun and chats. Whatever your level, you'll fit in!

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to bring our own board?

No, we have spares but if you have one, great!

I've never played before / am a beginner

Totally fine! There are complete beginners in our club and some Pros too. We all help and play with each other. It's a very friendly, informal group!

How much does it cost?

Completely free! Just turn up, bring friends, neighbours, relatives and play!

How does it work?

Just turn up! If you're new to the game, we'll pair you with someone who can teach you or if you've played before, we'll match you with others at your level. Everyone mingles, plays and has fun. Or, if you'd prefer, just watch until you're ready!

Are you accessibility friendly?

I'm afraid as we're downstairs in the function room, we're not as there are only stairs down to us.
