WOVEN Teacher Event - Careers in Textiles: The Fabric of Life
Event Information
About this Event
WOVEN is a celebration of innovation in textiles across Kirklees.
A key strand of the WOVEN 2021 Festival is the development of a careers programme for young people. We want to inspire young people about the broad range of career pathways and opportunities in textiles, including those in science, technology and engineering as well as art and design.
This event is an opportunity to meet leaders from the Department of Fashion and Textiles and Technical Textiles Research Centre at the University of Huddersfield and be part of conversations that will help to shape an exciting textile career programme for young people in Kirklees.
