Widening Participation Medics Network is excited to present the first webinar of our new series, WPMN Welcomes. We are thrilled to be hosting two esteemed army medics who will be sharing their journeys with all of us. Please join us for the opening talk of this inspiring lecture series to find out more!
OCdt Sam Elcock is an Army FY2 Doctor. After being awarded the Army Undergraduate Medical Bursary whilst a student at the University of Leeds, he is now completing his foundation training in Birmingham. Currently on rotation in A&E, he has interests in General Practice and Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine.
Dr Rich Dufton is a civilian GP who has previously served 8 years in the Army. He worked as an infantry doctor in the UK, Kenya and Afghanistan. He now works as a GP in the NHS close to Liverpool.
