WPS Outing: Salisbury

A WPS outing to Salisbury.

A casual photo walk (perhaps 3 miles total) around Salisbury visiting the sights and certainly not touching any perfume bottles. A beautiful city with many photo opportunities.

• The day will be approximately 1000-1600 in Salisbury.

• A visit to the SCPF Exhibition at Salisbury library to see our images (and our fellow clubs') images. (ends 26th January)

• A photographic walk around Salisbury Town Centre.Members available for photographic help/advice if needed.

  • Salisbury Cathedral has a 123m spire (ask any Russian), a working 14th-century clock and an original copy of the Magna Carta (the Great Charter), a key document from 1215 A.D.
  • The Cathedral Cloisters and Cathedral Close.
  • The market town square.
  • The river gardens.

• A stop for lunch in a coaching Inn (or a pub).

• Travel by car or train (train direct from Romsey).

• Meeting point will be communicated to signed-up attendees in advance
