Through works on paper, ceramics, and large-scale compositions, Tempest reimagines the “human comedy” through the seasons as an unfolding cycle of narrative and gesture. beginning with a dialogue with Picasso's work also ispired by Balzac's Human Comedy , Annabel's work is rooted in Somerset’s landscape and culture. Her practice celebrates making as both communal and celebratory - transforming the everyday and the folkloric into vivid visual worlds.

Installed within White Chapel Somerset’s lived space, the exhibition opens the festive season with a reflection on creativity, community, and continuity.
