Every year we get together to celebrate the season, usually around solstice, to create a wreath symbolising the cyclical nature of the year and the to drum together as sisters!
Where: Roydon Village hall
When: 13th December
What time: 2:30-7:30pm
How Much: £40
We begin at 2:30pm, coming together to ground, connect and share.
From there we will spend a good amount of time crafting our wreaths. There will be a huge range of floristy and decorative bits available and if you want to bring specific things for your wreath or to share they are very welcome.
There will be lots of support if needed or space to craft in your own little corner if that's more your thing!
Once the wreaths are complete we will gather in circle to drum!
There will be drums to borrow and no experience is needed. There will also be a little ceremony for the season, honouring the darker times of the year and the soon to be returning of the light.
You are invited to bring some food to share for our winter feast. There will be mulled wine too!
Also, bring things to sit on, to make a comfy nest. There are chairs and tables but many like to craft and drum on the floor.
You might like to bring fairy lights and things to decorate the space with too!
We finish at 7:30pm - giving us plenty of time to get really into crafting and drumming!
Roydon village hall has a large car park and is easy to find just outside of the large town of Harlow. It is a 10 minute walk from Roydon train station and there will likely be people who could car share from Harlow and surrounding areas.
Tickets include all materials. Refunds are not available more than 3 weeks before the event as materials will have been purchased and the hall hire paid for.
