Wreath Making Saturday Session

By Surrey Wildlife Trust

Overview

Enjoy a festive session making a Christmas door wreath using natural materials collected locally.

In a purpose-built classroom within the atmospheric surroundings of an ancient woodland, start the Christmas season off with a session of festive fun making your own holiday door wreath. We will provide the circular metal frame (which can be used for years to come) and an abundance of natural materials. Your tutor will guide you through the process, ensuring that you create a personalised and welcoming wreath that will last for all of December.

Bring some friends or come on your own. We'll have mulled juice, holiday snacks and festive music to inspire your creativity. This annual event is the perfect way to begin what is sure to be a fabulous holiday season.

If you have anything special that you would like to include in your wreath such as feathers, sparkles, fairy lights or other ornaments, feel free to bring them along. We also suggest that you bring gardening gloves and secateurs if you have them as some of the materials, like the holly and thistles, can be sharp and difficult to handle.
