Wreath Making Workshop
Event Information
About this Event
Wreaths are a popular Christmas decoration, adorning homes around the world throughout the festive period. Making your own wreath is a fun and rewarding craft project, giving you the chance to create something completely unique to decorate your home with.
Working with natural material has a very organic and holistic feel to it. It is a very relaxing and grounding experience.
The wreath making workshop will happen online, via Zoom. Puja (from Munro’s store) will facilitate the class on Saturday, 5th December between 17:00 and 20:00. You will be sent the relevant Zoom details beforehand to be able to log in.
All the material you will need for the class can be collected from Clitterhouse Farm on the same day, any time between 10:00 and 14:00. We will have a great selection of different foliage ready for you. As well you are more than welcome to forage for extra Holly, Ivy, etc. from around the farm garden. Just bring your own secateurs and a big bag to carry everything home.
If you live locally but should not be able to come over to the farm in person, because you are self-isolating or for any other reason, we will be happy to drop off all the material with you instead. Please contact us via garden@clitterhouse.com to arrange a suitable day and time.
The tickets for this event are priced at £30. £20 go to Puja for facilitating the 3 hour session and for bought in material. £10 go to Clitterhouse Farm as a donation towards future events. On this occasion we have a handful of concession spaces available, please do get in touch (via above email) if applicable.
After the workshop you will have the option to sign up to Puja’s Facebook group, where the zoom session will be posted for you to revisit at your own leisure. You will be able to ask questions, post images of your finished wreaths and hear news about Munro’s community and planet friendly shop and upcoming classes and events at Clitterhouse Farm.
Here a list of things you will need at home for the online workshop:
- space on your kitchen table
- a pair of scissors or secateurs
- the material you collected from Clitterhouse Farm earlier in the day
- mulled wine and mince pies (optional)
