Attend all the concerts, workshops, folk sessions and talks we have happening across our comfortable indoor venues. Only weekend ticket holders get to attend our Friday evening folk club.
Saturday and Sunday is a full programme of events to take part in, be in the audience, share the stage or learn a new skill! Our programme is designed for all ages and everyone is welcome to all events. Some events are specifically designed for children, and some events may be more suitable for those with additional needs.
Locally sourced food and drink including local ales available all weekend. There will be coffee mornings, lunch cafes, suppers, bars, bar snacks and plenty of cake! Catering provided by the ever trusty, festival favourite volunteers, Ale&Cake.
Saturday evening you can join our fun folk supper! A delicious hearty home-cooked pie, sitting on tables with other festival goers and our artists. We'll play some games, and you'll have fun, make new friends, and be well fed! Add on your supper tickets when you buy your weekend ticket today.

Wren Music Folk Festival 2021, featuring:
Mel & Kat Biggs - interweaving traditional British and European dance repertoire with many of their own original tunes and songs influenced by their years in The Morris, travels across Europe and shared passion for history. They'll perform and deliver tunes workshops suitable for all acoustic instruments.
Lucky Moyo - International singer, songwriter and singing leader. Lucky has toured into and worked in 48 countries performing at the Royal Festival Hall London, JFK Centre in Washington DC. He has performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Nelson Mandela! Lucky will perform, lead singing workshops, run workshops suitable for children and give a talk on cross cultural learning through music.
Scott Gardiner - one of Scotland’s top traditional singers best known for singing the bothy ballads and songs of the north-east. He's represented Scotland at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in the USA, won the Bothy Ballad World Championship in Elgin and had two nominations for Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. Scott will perform, share the history of Bothy Ballads and deliver a singing workshop on Songs and Ballads of Dundee, suitable for all ability of singer.
The festival also features Bill Murray, Malcolm Woods, Mark Bazeley and local dance sides Plymouth Morris and Aurora Appalachian dance!
Plus, The Wren Ensemble; Jenny Read, Jon Dyer, Marilyn Tucker, Paul Wilson, Rosa Rebecka, Sarah Owen and Hannah Cumming.
Okehampton is a delightful old market town on the northern slopes of Dartmoor. The comfortable indoor venues are all within very easy walking distance of each other, right in the town centre, with car parks, cafés and shops nearby. There’s a wide range of accommodation to suit all pockets within and near the town and a good taxi service.
