About this Event
Welsh Government have funded AVOW to build a more resilient, safe and trained volunteer network throughout Wrexham County Borough.
Training available to organisations, community groups and community councils are:
ILM Level 3 Award in Management of Volunteers - accredited qualification (worth £540) starting 17th February 2021(please email sharon.stocker@avow.org if you have missed out this time but would like to go on a waiting list for future courses)

We are also able to offer free training if you or your volunteers:
- currently volunteer anywhere in Wrexham County Borough, or
- anyone who wishes to start volunteering or join our new Community Response Team (https://bit.ly/AvowCRTVW)
Currently this is the training available but we are hoping to add more specialist training depending on demand (please see individual tickets for more information on the courses):

Mental Health Awareness
All above training courses are delivered via Zoom by Litegreen Training (https://www.litegreenltd.co.uk/training)

Equality and Diversity
Food Hygiene
(all the above are online courses you can do at your convenience provided they are completed by 31st March 2021)
Whatever training you do will go on a virtual volunteer passport to help volunteers access a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout Wrexham County Borough.
