Join Write & Shine for a series of early morning writing workshops in The Royal Parks this autumn.
There will be 3 sessions on 20th September in Kensington Gardens, 18th October in Hyde Park and 15th November at Brompton Cemetery.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not book for 11th October. The session will be taking place on 18th October so please book for this session.
- Writer Gemma Seltzer will guide you through a range of creative exercises to prompt new ideas, poems, stories and life writing.
- In the morning light we’ll write together, exploring the park with a guided walk, taking inspiration for our writing from our surroundings and the natural world.
- Write & Shine workshops take place in the morning, because we think it’s the best time to think, dream and imagine! You won’t be expected to share your writing, which offers great freedom and encourages all kinds of fascinating ideas to emerge.
- Fuel your creativity with a breakfast of tea, coffee, juice and pastries, included in the workshop price.
Timing: Please arrive at 7.15am for a prompt 7.30–10.30am workshop start.
What to bring: A notebook and pen.
Who it’s for: Open to all levels, whether you're new to writing, have some experience or are simply curious to explore your creativity.
Weather: Sessions will go ahead in all weathers — please dress warmly and bring waterproofs if needed.
