What is Write This Run?
Write This Run is a chance for UK running bloggers to get together, learn from each other and hear from guest experts on all things running and blogging. Whether running is the sole topic of your blog or part of a wider lifestyle blog you write, this event is for you.

What’s in it for bloggers?
Like running, blogging can be a solitary pursuit if you let it. So why not come out from behind your keyboard and meet other people that are doing what you do? You’ll be able to learn from each other and our guest speakers, share tips, advice and horror stories, and get inspired. It’s a chance for you to focus on your blog and your running, and to think about how you could do things differently. We’ll also have a couple of products for you to test out.

Liz Goodchild is a seasoned runner – ultra-marathons are her current obsession – and a qualified UK Athletics Running Fitness Leader. Her running groups, the Rookie and Rebel Runners, provide a friendly, non-intimidating space for women to run at their own pace, in their own time.

Liz is a certified Life Coach, which basically means that when people feel a little lost and stuck, she helps get them off their ass and start getting things done. Thanks to a successful career in event management, Liz brings laser-sharp organisational skills to our workshopd, although she is really quite terrible at Excel.

Laura Fountain is a journalist, editor, running blogger and author. She’s a columnist for Running Fitness magazine and has written on running for the Guardian. Her blog Lazy Girl Running was adapted into the book 'The Lazy Runner' published by Pitch Publishing in 2012. A reformed couch potato, Laura has run eight marathons and an iron-distance triathlon. She also teaches beginner runners how to run 5k and, more importantly, how to love running.
