Welcome to the fourth in our new series of writers meetings, offering an informal, critical space to test out new work.

Our fourth featured writer is Natasha LaForce, several of whose poems featured in our series of handbills in 2014, and whose performance at Doremifasolasido festival at Florence Arts Centre in Cumbria was one of the highlights of Different Skies' spoken word set last autumn.

Drunk and sober, ecstatic and terse, Natasha's writing occupies the thin space between bodies and minds caught up in an endless process of pairing and parting. For the writers meeting on 27th September, she'll be presenting extracts from 'Everything We Ever Said to Each Other', a novella in progress inspired by heartbreak, forced readings and the wastelands of the international tutoring circuit.

At the start of the meeting there'll be an open mic session, but without the mic. Email editors@differentskies.net if you'd like to share something, or just turn up on the night. We will do our best to fit in as many people as possible.
