About this event

The Writers Workshop is kicking off its Weird Weekend of magical, mythical, and fantastical events with some spine-tingling silliness!

Join us in the Back Room at The Lescar pub for a night of Halloween fun, including a suitably strange spoken-word performance, a spooky literary quiz, and a chance to dance to scary-good tunes.

Don't fret, the quiz will be quickfire and not overly literary :)

Costumery not required but strongly encouraged! The best dressed will be rewarded.

Also, ticket holders can enter the 500-word writing contest! See below for more information.

Please note:

  • Doors open 6:30pm, performance starts at 7:00pm promptly.
  • A limited number of early-bird tickets (Writers Workshop members only) are available until September 30th.
  • Grab a VIP ticket for reserved seating and a glass of fizz.
  • Tickets are non-refundable but may be resold/transferred to another person (who must provide the original booker's name at the door).

This is part of The Writers Workshop's Weird Weekend of literary events. Check out the full programme in the Weird Weekend Eventbrite Collection!
