About this Event
At the workshop we will be looking at Marcus Rashford and his role as an activist. Each participant will produce their own piece of creative writing.
The workshop is a taster session to introduce a series of workshops which will run weekly from Jan 2021. Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will be looking at current and historical Black British authors, scientists, activists, composers, sportspeople, and members of the armed forces.

An acrostic poetry competition - Write an acrostic poetry competition based on one of the 10 black Britons in the trail for a chance to win a book token. More details including how to enter can be found in the events link here.
A writing competition for teenagers based on Malorie Blackman's novel Noughts and Crosses.
